Ingredients for 4 servings:
6 raw apples (organic Golden Delicious work well)
1 cup apple juice
¼ tsp cinnamon (or more, as desired)
Preparation:
Wash and chop the apples into 1-inch cubes, cutting out the core. Bring the apple juice to a boil in a medium-sized saucepan. Put in the apples and cinnamon. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 20 minutes or more. Serve hot or cooled.
