Spice formula to balance your dosha.

Either by age, harsh climate, illness or poor life style our bodies can get weak and out of balance. You will be surprise how the use of spices in the siddha texts gives plenty of medicinal formulas to enhance health and longevity.
Here a recipe call amukkura churnam, the formula addressed the 6 taste as a way to balance any dosha. This mixture cures colic, hiccups, chlorosis, rheumatic diseases, insomnia, excessive internal heat and spematorrhea. It also relieves stress and strengthens a weakened nervous system. If the person is already strong this mixture serve as an aphrodisiac for men.

10 grams cloves
20 grams Cinnamon buds
40 grams Cardamom Seeds
80 grams black pepper
160 grams long pepper( Thippli)
320 grams dry ginger.
640 grams of aswagandha
1280 grams of organic cane sugar.
Fist, roast the long pepper, and then grid together the rest of the spices except the sugar. Power the sugar separately, then, mix the sugar and the powered spices and aswaghanda. Store the power in a glass jar.
How to use it:
To stimulate and balance vatta dosha:
Mix one or two grams of the power with one tablespoon of organic sesame oil. Take the preparation on an empty stomach in the morning and in the evening. Can be taken one hour before meals of 3 hours after meals. Take it for 11, 22, 33 or 45 days depending of the symptoms.
To stimulate and balance pitta dosha replace sesame oil with 2 teaspoons of ghee.
To stimulate and balance kapha dosha, use 1-1/2 teaspoon honey.
